I love freezer jam! I believe it makes the best PB&J sandwiches and it is excellent on french toast and pancakes. So when Broulim's had strawberries for $1.50 a pint, I knew it was jam making time. So this is how I make Jam. So I just use the recipe that comes in the box of the sure*jell.
Ingredients
2 cups crushed fresh strawberries
4 cups sugar
1 (1.75 ounce) package dry pectin
3/4 cup water
Directions
I use some Beautiful Red Strawberries....

and these two products.
I wash my containers...
I puree my strawberries in the Blender...
I boil my Sure*Jell
Mix the two together...
And then I get the most beautiful and yummy freezer Jam! It is so yummy and so easy. The top container has something extra special in it. I threw in some yummy mango's :)
